I was in a computer store just before Christmas and gazed upon the iMac with the 24-inch wide-screen display.
Drool.
I don't know why but I want that machine.
Since I got my iPod I am suddenly pro-Apple. I have a really positive image of their products, mainly down to some really positive experiences I have had with Apple.
I find myself sharing this thought, this desire for an iMac, with others and they are giving me strange looks.
I have been a PC-advocate since 1994. Maybe it's time to cross over.

I was a PC user for years - mainly because all of the scientific software is written for PCs.
When I was in Buffalo, we used Macs, so I bought a Mac Powerbook, and I love it.
I feel like a traitor, but the "plug-and-play" features make it so user-friendly it's ridiculous. Add to that the fact that there are very few viruses, etc targeted to Macs that security is better...
I could go on, but I think the price tag is worth it (this sucker was ex-PEN-sive!)!
(But I still feel like a traitor!)
M. That sounds like a great endorsement. I think now it's a matter of when rather than if.
Yep it's expensive but it will surely make me a better person :-)
Hope you had a great Christmas!
