Why does life break your heart sometimes?

My wife's cousin passed away this morning. It's an unspeakable sadness that prevails. She was a young woman who fought so hard to overcome her illness. Thinking at one stage that she had fought her way back to health the illness returned and spread.

For all the things in life we are so grateful but it still seems unbearably sad that this young woman in her prime has left us.

Life has a terrible way of shocking. Rest in peace.
