There are not too many people in worldwide sport for whom I still have the utmost respect. Shane Warne is one.
He is unconventional, a bit brash but utterly utterly talented. A gifted sportsman if ever there was one.
He's decided that he's going to retire from international sport. He's pretty much rewritten the history of his sport so maybe this is the best time to step down.
It's hard to think of others who have reached the heights he has on the international sporting stage.
At the same time, I'm thinking there could be loads of people reading this wondering "who the hell is Shane Warne?"
Am I right?

I know who he is. Rounders will never be the same without him.
yeah. Good on ya mate! And I didn't have any blank DVDs. does that system burn DVDs too?
It sure does. It does all.
Ashamed to admit I don't know who he is. But then again, I also call the wrong sport "football," so really what do I know? :-)
Happy holidays to you and your loved ones!
Thanks m. Appreciate it. With the way things have gone in the last three weeks I'm hoping for the most boring 2 weeks of my life. I could do with a break!
Hope you enjoy the holidays too in your wonderful retreat in the woods.
by the way he, Shane Warne, is an Australian cricket player. One of the best ever. He's just announced that he'll be retiring. Probably a bit like Babe Ruth in terms of national significance in Australia.
