My 4-year old has recently taken a liking to the room service concept.Instead of asking for food and drinks to be brought straight in to him, he now requires me to knock on the door and wait outside the room for his permission before entering.
For example just now he's sitting in his pyjamas on the sofa watching scooby doo and eating toast.
When he asked for the toast he added "and will you knock on the door when you bring it?"
I'm beginning to think I'm on the wrong side of the equation here.

That's quite a standard to set. What next? Breakfast in bed?
yes. A logical progression I fear. At least the 2 year old hasn't spotted this "service" yet
Well I hope they understand how the 'tip' culture works. You should expect 20% at least.
