I had one of "those" experiences in the supermarket today. I was standing at the checkout waiting for my credit card to be authorised when the person serving me was approached by a colleague.
The colleague proceeds to tell her how she has had a run of stupid customers today who didn't know their PIN number for their Laser card, including one customer who apparently said "you don't need a PIN number to use your Laser card".
I don't know if any of this PIN number stuff is true or not. What I do know is that you don't speak critically about customers in front of customers.
