I have not had much of a chance to read what I want to read over the last 2 or so years. I'm studying for an MBA and it pretty much takes up what little time I have in the evenings, especially ploughing through piles of articles and excerpts from business titles.
I have however been making an occasional exception and allowing myself to read something just for me.
I came across this book on the recommendation of a colleague that I have had the pleasure and priviledge to work with for almost 10 years. He mentioned it on a number of occasions and after a workshop with him last year I arranged to get a copy.
Needless to say it sat on the shelf for quite some time until one of those days came along when I was in a browing mood. I picked it up, brought it to my office and decided to have a stab at reading it.
I haven't got too far into the book, over a period of say 6 months, so that will tell you how much "discretionary reading time" I have but what I have read has really opened my eyes. It is amazing stuff.
If you have even the remotest interest or curiousity about why people do the things they do, then you'll find this book to be a real treasure.

I will look into it.
yep. well worth a read. you kind of need to read a bit and pause for a bit to digest it. A bit like a bran muffin I suppose :-)
