Bones? what bones?

Archeology team finds ancient bones supporting theory of link between apes and man in Kenya.

Church decides that the museum would be wrong to display these bones as "evidence" of man's evolution from apes. The evolution theory goes against religious doctrine they say.

They plan to call and write to the museum and rally support to prevent or limit the display of the bones.

Is it just me or is the world going mad?

I mean they actually have the bones in the museum. They were found in Kenya. They would appear to all intents and purposes to support some kind of evolution of mankind.

There is something a bit "da Vinci code" about this stance by the churches in Kenya.

Full story here in the Telegraph.

On the bright side, it's nice to know that developing countries like Kenya can sustain their own supply of religious moonbats and won't have to rely on US imports. Take that, World Bank.

Just stumbled on to your blog today while killing time, but it's great.

Yep. it's all just a bunch of theories.

I was watching a music video yesterday and it showed a whole bunch of people crying at a funeral meanwhile up in heaven there was a bunch of reunion parties going on, everyone laughing etc.

That view of what happens after we are gone is another example of how the belief varies from one religion or group or place to another.

Kind of amazing that for all the "information" we have nowadays it's the stuff that we have no concrete data on, such as religious idelogy, that is at the heart of most of the large-scale killing and suffering.

Hopefully some aliens in outer space are watching and waiting for a chance to swoop down and save us. Wait a minute. That's a hooky theory too isn't it? Or .. maybe it's those pastafarians you mentioned, de german??
