It's been a while

Sheesh. It's been weeks since I wrote anything on this blog.

I've been busy with other stuff going on that I can't get into here but suffice it to say it's difficult keeping multiple things going on at the same time.

Anyhow thank goodness it has now stopped raining in Ireland. There's this old song called "holes in the floor of heaven". Country music ok.

The gist of it is that there is this little child/young girl/middle aged guy (one per verse) and they are crying about some life-destroying event (country music.. use your imagination). To try and rationalise why this is happening to them and why they are crying profusely someone points out that even though it's raining it's not really raining.

Rather it's because there's holes in the floor of heaven and Granny/mother/wife is crying upstairs and their tears are falling down through the holes and it's appearing down here as rain.

hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

anyway.

It felt more like whoever is in heaven had forgotten to turn off the taps in the bath the way things have been going lately. Madra agus cata how are you.

Now the rain has stopped. The sun shines every now and then for 10 minutes. The ice cream guy pulls a handbrake turn outside the house and it's a bit more like summer.

Now to find my qualitative research methods textbook for tonight. Oh joy.

Until the next time.
